Protect Your Investment. Maximize Performance. This Shaft Saver is made from 304L stainless steel and is designed to directly mount to the lower gear case of the Mercury Racing 300R, 400R and 450R. Installation requires drilling two (2) 5/16" holes in the front of the lower gear case. The plate also utilizes the existing mounting points of the anodic plate and is secured with stainless steel ARP® bolts and nyloc nuts provided with plate.

Note: Customer is responsible for verifying propeller clearance with the cavitation plate. All hardware must be torqued to specification, and proper installation is required. While this plate helps reduce vibration and cavitation, Eddie Marine is not responsible for broken propeller shafts or cleaver damage.
